The last Taste of Bali Retreat was a beautiful experience. Here are some comments from guests:
“Great accommodation and service at Honeymoon Guesthouse felt special from the first moment to the last farewell”
“The whole trip was super well organised and yoga was great as was the size of group”
” The food was exceptional, with the cooking class at Casa Luna being a real highlight.”
“I loved the Bambu Indu experience with the pools, architecture and food. Amazing!”
“Katrina was an exceptional host who made the entire experience effortless.”
You are invited to join the next adventure to the Island of the Gods.
Allow yourself to be gently immersed into the delicious sounds, sights, scents, touch and flavours of Bali. For lovers of fresh and healthy food and beverages, this will be a feast for all the senses. You will leave feeling deeply nourished and vibrantly well.
A combination of gentle daily QiGong, yoga and somatic practices will energise, then relax and soothe your nervous system. In addition to an exciting lineup of activities you have the option of daily massages or treatments, and exploring the art, nature and culture of Ubud.
The group is capped at 9 guests to ensure individual attention. It also means we can be agile and flexible in navigating Ubud streets.
There are 4 spaces left in either a twin shares, a Queen or a King suite to choose from with aircon and private bathrooms with baths.
Please contact me before you book so I can advise you how to book a single or a share room.
You will pay a 50% deposit to secure your place.
I’d love to chat to you if you’d like to find out more.

What to expect from the Taste of Bali retreat
Ubud, Bali
From peaceful rice fields vistas to traditional warungs (local restaurants) to the vibrant cafe scene, Ubud has something for everyone!
Breakfast in the beautiful open-air restaurant on exotic fresh fruits and juices, green pandan & banana pancakes, eggs your way or go traditional with a nasi goreng. Gluten and dairy free options are all catered.
Activities will include tie-dye workshop at a local venue which works directly with over 1200 women weavers and supports 35 weavers’ groups across Balinese communities. Or try out local yoga at the iconic Yoga Barn or Intuitive Yoga Flow studios.
The adventurous could choose to go cycling down a volcano, or rafting down the river. Together we will all experience the iconic 90 minute sound healing at the amazing Pyramids of Chi.
Spend a blissful day relaxing in the natural pool terraces, river and jungle at Bambu Indah: an astonishing resort built entirely of bamboo.
If you’re up for a spot of shopping Ubud offers kilometres of local clothes designers, jewellery, street markets, craftsmanship, homewares, chocolate… anything and everything!
And when you’ve had enough of the busy, you can choose a spa for some foot reflexology, a traditional Balinese massage with herb poultices or a cream bath: an hour of divine head massage and deep conditioning treatment of your hair.
On this retreat I have organised a special trip to a beautiful water temple off the tourist circuit for our own water purification ceremony that will leave you feeling washed clean and spiritually refreshed.
The highlight for me is always a cooking class at Casa Luna for the vivid colours, scents, and tastes of Balinese cuisine where you’ll help grind, chop and mix the base ingredients for fresh sates, salads, ayam (chicken) dishes and zesty sambals. Vegetarians and vegans won’t miss out with many wonderful plant-based options.
We’ll experience a couple of fine dining events including a new restaurant by chef and entrepreneur Will Meyrick and a classic favourite overlooking Mt Agung on a clear evening.
This retreat will fill your plate and your cup with the unique flavours and bounty of Bali. Nature is your balance here; lavish, intoxicating but deeply healing. And the Balinese always welcome us with their traditional grace and smiles.
Give yourself the gift of time and space to indulge your senses in this beautiful country where food is so entwined with culture and community. Once experienced, it’s never forgotten!
I can’t wait to share the sensations of Bali and Ubud with you and maybe you’ll fall in love just like I did and keep wanting to come back again and again.
